Last month, we were honored to be a part of the We Mean Business Summit and 12th Annual Women’s Venture Summit. It was amazing to be around so many people who are taking action, not just talking about what needs to change. These events were clear reminders of the power of community and the importance of showing up for one another.
To close out Hispanic Heritage Month, we've decided to launch a campaign that blends our respect for the rich history, culture, and contributions of Latine Americans with our goal to create a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem. At IFEL, much of our capital access work centers the role of angel investors, so we are launching a #100LatineAngelsChallenge to train 100 new Latine angel investors in 30 days. This is ambious but with your help, we can do it! This is part of our solution to increasing the amount of capital going to Latine founders.
As you start preparing for the holiday season, we hope that you will consider including IFEL in your year-end giving. Our ability to do the work that we do, depends on the generosity of people like you who want to see a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Jill Johnson and Stephanie Fowler were presenters at the We Mean Business Summit, hosted by the National Women’s Collaborative in San Juan, Puerto Rico (September 17–20, 2025). The summit was filled with inspiring discussions, meaningful connections, and opportunities to celebrate women leading change across industries. Jill and Stephanie brought the Creating Conscious Collisions format with three trailblazing founders — Alondra Toledo of RameCup, Jeannie Marmol of MyIVSpa, and Julia Whippo of Moneyball.ai.

Pipeline Angels Connect in Los Angeles

Something truly special happens when brilliant minds and warm spirits gather in one room—and that’s exactly what unfolded in West Hollywood last month.
Hosted by the ever-gracious Barbara Clarke, the evening brought together Pipeline Angels members Althea Garvey, Kirsten Albrecht and Monica Dean for an evening of connection and conversation. The evening was a powerful reminder of what makes our community so extraordinary: the genuine commitment to connect, collaborate, and lift each other up.
